VimpelCom IFRS revenue rises 9.6% to 77.5 bln rbl in Jul–Sep
MOSCOW, Nov 20 (PRIME) -- Total revenue of Russian mobile operator VimpelCom, working under brand Beeline, increased 9.6% on the year to 77.516 billion rubles in July–September, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said on Monday in a statement.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) grew 11.3% to 33.703 billion rubles. The EBITDA margin added 0.6 percentage points to 43.5%.
“It was the last quarter we spent as part of VEON’s international business. Starting from October 9, we have become a fully Russian company officially…We plan to ‘relaunch’ our reporting entirely in October–December that we will spend as a Russian firm,” General Director Alexander Torbakhov said.
